Your addition to this thread was not helpful at all, then. We're all in the U.S. If you want to add a comment for our international members, that's fine, but you should qualify your comment with that fact. I think at this point it's pretty obvious you just looked up the parts list and assumed something that was incorrect.
You were wrong. I was correct

No matter how you try to spin it.

You should have qualified for the many Canadians that post on this forum that all 335i did not come with Adaptive Xenons instead of stating ALL

Not to mention those from the EU and other parts of the world that post.

Before this becomes a thing, I am not trying to say I was right. I'm just saying your addition wasn't very helpful in the context of discussion if you really did know that all American 335i did come with adaptive HIDs. The OP had asked if he had them, and if you knew that, then you would have known that he did but chose not to say that.

You are also making an ass of yourself as the Bimmerpost App does not show posters location, again, assuming that everyone uses the web browser.

I came in thinking I knew the answer but now I'm confused. I thought the lighting package upgraded you to Adaptive LEDs? So the HIDs are adaptive too? What is the benefit of the LED lights? It seems like the US ones got shafted with some of the optional upgrades that other countries got with the LEDs. The only nice thing is having automatic high beams but I rarely use them.

We’re living in the past on this one. We’re talking 335i, so pre-LCI. LEDs are strictly an LCI thing in this case.

For pre-LCI US F30s, the lighting package (ZLP) got you adaptive HIDs. That was already the standard configuration on the 335, so there’s no ZLP there.

So the HIDs are adaptive too?
For US F30s, if it’s HID, it’s also adaptive.

They’re more energy-efficient and generally more durable.

I assume you mean variable light distribution and anti-dazzle/no-glare high beam. That’s not new with the LEDs. Those features were also available on European F30s with adaptive HIDs, but not on US ones.

Nevermind. I own and F32 4 series and they followed the structure I stated Pre-LCI. I didn't know the F30 was different from the F32 in that regard. Weird that they would do that, but clears up my confusion.

These are the headlights I was referencing. Pre-LCI Adaptive LEDs. The 435i came with xenons standard but the LEDs were an (expensive) option.

And unfortunately the BMW LEDs are inferior to the HID.

Why don't you just check the VIN? Just go to a BMW site, type in your VIN & it'll show you all of your options and packages.

Mine go left.

Maybe you have the Zoolander of F30s?
They do?! That's so odd. I was told that they didn't because they didn't want you blinding traffic while stopped to turn left. I'm going to pay closer attention to mine when I'm driving at night next.
They don't swivel left if you are stopped. If the car is moving, it will swivel left as well. I don't know what the speed threshold is, but I was inching along in a parking lot and turned left and saw the light swivel left.

Also, I recall thinking my adaptive lights were broken, but realized they only turn when your headlight switch is in the Auto position.

Adaptive headlights what a fantastic thing they are too .!!!!!
far superior to anything I've had previously regardless of the type of bulb fitted .
What a delight to find my recently bought car has them fitted , quite entertaining watching the beam patterns change.!!!
