330d M Sport adaptive suspension - runflat alternatives?

It's been discussed over the years and I thought I'd be happy keeping the runflats but I'm getting tired of the head splitting bangs if I drive over anything like a particularly severe pothole. Had to drive an Astra for a couple weeks whilst my AC was sorted and the ride over the same bumps was so much smoother.

I've got Continental Sport 5 SSR at the moment but they'll need replacing this year. Is there a better ie softer 'runflat' or extended use tyre (that doesn't quite qualify as an ISO runflat) people have got on better with?
I have reservations about switching to normal tyres as I've read they can make the car unstable at higher speeds when the suspension and car is built for runflats...

It's on 403m 19" 225/40 front, 255/35 rear
Thanks

Look into Bridgestone's DriveGuard. I have them on my wife's DD, a 2016 F36 GC and I like how it rides and feels compared with the OEM that came with the car.
