ZF recommends 100k km changes, period. I'd like to see how anybody can refute the company that literally engineered and manufactured the transmission. Notice the vehicle they used and the fact that they mentioned the "lifetime" fluid. Lifetime fluid is absolutely ridiculous.

If you change fluid be sure you have the tools. Have to pump in fluid at specific temp as ATF expands with heat. Overfill cold and you can have a problem.
You hook up your scanning tool to live data and watch the temp as you fill. Lifetime fluid is BS. So I agree 💯 with the change recommendations. I also add some anti shudder additive at higher miles and it works wonders. When I changed my e91 the fluid was black, not the ruby red of ATF. |

I just didn't see the video in the other post. I rarely start conversations and just thought this would settle this stupid debate on whether you should maintain your car or choose to run it into the ground.
