A Z4 that I'd actually want over a Cayman/Boxster.

The i8 with a proper engine. I know the i range is meant to be futuristic so they've done the 3 pot 1.5L engine but I can't help but feel the car is wasted.
It looks so futuristic, similar to how the R8 did when released all those years back, but it's just lacking a proper powertrain. A proper Merc AMG GT rival would've been lovely, even if I couldn't afford it lol. |

2 series saloon, with 3 litre diesel engine! Basically what the 3 series should still be.
3 series is just too big & heavy these days, and the next one will no doubt be even bigger! |

A smaller alternative to the 3 series touring. I need a practical boot for the dog but an F31 is approaching 40k+ with decent engine and options.
An X3 that looks a bit more sporty like the X5 does. |

I quite agree, a new Z4 as a sports car. The Z4 is quite an attractive shape and therefore quite nice looking but on driving a family members 6 cylinder Z4, I prefer my 4 cylinder 320D, as it's seems just nicer to drive. This cannot be right!

As many have said on this thread already, an M3 touring would be first on my wish list, then an M5 touring. I'd have these over the Audi RS alternatives any day!
I can't help but think BMW have missed a trick here. |

A F30 35d on my fleet was due a service recently so I dropped it to the garage. It was the first time I had driven a F30 in 6 months since getting the F06. I had forgotten how agile they are and how easily they can be chucked around. Most importantly I had forgotten how much fun they are to drive. This is an Xdrive, and I hate Xdrive. Its the main reason I got the F06, so I could have the 35d engine with Sdrive, but............... Man did I enjoy myself. I was driving like was a 15 year old kid again! |
