Wiper Blade Recommendations

Wiper blades have given up the ghost after just two years, fronts smearing the screen and squeaking no matter how many times I clean both blades and screen, rear is making a really annoying squeal - all happened around the same time.

Any recommendations on good quality replacements?

I bought some Valeo which I think are the same as the OEM ones for about £25 over the 'net. OK for me and easy to fit.

Bosch for me every time.

As said Valeo are the OEM ones. Bosch is an excellent alternative and from my personal experience last about a season longer. I drive about 24,000 miles a year and reckon on having to change the wiper blades every 18-24 months. This time of year in my view is about the best time to change so you get brand new wiper blades just when you need them.

I purchased a set of Bosch Aero Twin earlier this year and don't think much of them. I will definitely try the Valeo ones next

I bought the Valeo ones, identical to the BMW wipers.
No bulky adaptors to fit either.
They go on straight from the box work the same as BMW branded...

Check Euro car parts Usually have a discount code I got Valeo wipers on sat for my 4 series for £20. Saved £16. Almost identical to OEM I took off

+1 Valeo. Plus they come in a nice sturdy cardboard tube which you can later use for scaring the neighbour's cat.

My local branch of Halfords will price match pretty much anyone inc wiperblades.co.uk and Amazon UK.

Eurocarparts still have 35% off, but the the Valeo vm371 is £51.99 compared to £21.95 on the link above 😲. That's quite a difference.

Wonder if ECP's sell them normally at that price or just raise when they have offers cos that's stupid money compared to their competition

Bosch Aero all the way, cheapest I've had them is 20 quid for a set on offer. Still going for 2nd year without any issues or signs of wear
