Just replaced the original Rotors and Pads last week along with Front Control and Tension Arms.

Will be doing Struts and Shocks and rear control arms in a month or so.
Wow factory installed rotors + pads till 164k is phenomenal, or was it replaced at least once(e.g. by previous owner)?

Impressed to see a few well over 100k. I'm at ~54k and took ownership at 22k. I've done 5k oil and filter intervals.

2015 328i x drive (n26)

• Failed center operating module (driving experience for sport/eco switch). Repaired under warranty.
• Faulty LED Turn signal in Mirror replaced under warranty.
• Valve cover warped and leaking replaced under warranty.

Awaiting repair:
• LF tension strut bushing torn and leaking
• RF tension strut bushing is cracking

I'm at 118k miles. Bought my 2013 335i with 29,000 miles on it. I've had her for 5 years now.

Only modifications were an intake and a charge pipe.

Replaced ofhg, vcg, plus the usual maintenance of oil, spark plugs, and a couple cracked rims. Might be time to let her go with the amount of potholes we have in NYC...

That's quite early for these repairs. I am at 123,000 miles and I had the front thrust arms replaced at 115k miles and tomorrow I'm getting Bilstein B4 struts and shocks installed (all four sides) to replace the factory units.

That's quite early for these repairs. I am at 123,000 miles and I had the front thrust arms replaced at 121k miles and tomorrow I'm getting Bilstein B4 struts and shocks installed (all four sides) to replace the factory units.
I thought the same thing, which is why I've been holding off. Minnesota winters mixed with potholes I suppose.

I've been contemplating whether to upgrade or go oem. How much did you pay for install?

45k miles on a n20. Major repairs and maintenance include the following so far: both door lock actuators, new turbo due to waste gate rattle, new timing chain, new battery, new rear struts, and new brakes all around at 30k.I am hoping it makes it to 100 easy.

Crossing 100k next month, 97,700 now, mainly oil changes spark plugs, did control arms and bilstien b6 shocks/struts (my oem shocks were destroyed, thanks upstate ny roads!), venturi line, telematic battery, and the big one was transfer case at 49,500 miles (phew). Rotors and pads. Engine still sounds like a diesel, but drives great. 2016 428ix gran coupe.

Check your drive belt too. Mine had developed fine cracks so I replaced it around 90k miles. I replaced the brake pads around 70k (still on original rotors), but going to do a pad+rotor change in another couple of months around the 125k mark.

Well over 70k on mine tuned since it was 30k only money spent was maintenance and my rear caliper froze up (replaced both and new rotors and pads for 1700) engine has had no problems yet waiting for her to go kaboom so I can engine swap it with something dumb

Sorry to see this. As mentioned above, some early N55’s had rod bearing issues. What are your options? Almost $20k engine/labor from the dealer vs https://buyusedengine.com/used_engin...arch&price=asc

Made 256K this week

Still going with 256K and climbing.

Recently did the HPFP, which was super easy.

Also put in new O2 sensors, new MAF, new MAP, and did an intake cleaning.

Car feels smooth and strong like it did when it has <100K

Oil changes every 5K or less with AMSOIL & Ceratec...
