Looks fantastic, love the Mineral Grey.
Quick question, does the car have the Xenon headlights? I have been searching for a picture of the new F30 without Xenons, but it appears most of the press cars have the Xenon headlights fitted. Cheers |

BMW told me to drive up to 4500 RPM and 140KPH as maximum for the first 2,000Kms , is this normal? . The transmission feels very soft and makes very quick changes The car is really faster than my 325i 2008 (M Sport Package) but I really miss the M steering wheel in the F30.
It is supposed that this F30 Sport is 10mm lower than Modern and Luxory version but in comparison with the 325i 2008 (M Sport package) the F30 is really taller. I think the tires are the diference because the 2008 has 225 40R18 front and 255 35R18 rear. |

Excellent question. I've heard, that due to the incredibly tight tolerances and improvements in machining in the last 30, 20, even 10 years, that this is NOT necessary, and is just a carry over from years of practice. I'd like to hear from some of you guys that really know the answer to this. Is a "break-in" period really necessary any more, or not?
