Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

Yeah we're probably gonna go grab lunch afterwards somewhere. Make sure you drink tons of Gatorade after your night out and see you tomorrow morning!

I'll stay until all of the coding is done. With all of the people showing up, I'm sure some of us will still be there at noon.

You can always send me an e-mail to frogmanf30@gmail.com and see if we're still there.

Yep, everything is a go for tomorrow; it should be a beautiful day!

We will be sharing the parking lot with a lot of people, kids, and bicycles; please drive carefully!

After doing the coding it actually show S1-S8 in DS mode so you know which gear you are current on.
I believe this default if you have shift paddles option.

Excuse me for piping in here, but I just tried this change on my loaner 318d F30 and it didn't change the behavior in D or DS mode. Six showed briefly before it changed to Mx though. I'll be interested if you get this working.

Yes, I did change both values and just checked that it 'took', which it did.

It seems to only affect only DS mode (moving the shifter to the left (or the right for you?) but not notching the + or - positions). It doesn't seem to have any effect for Comfort or Sport mode by itself.

These codes came from a bimmerpost F10 coding thread. There may be other dependencies that will prevent it from working. Reading the whole thread shows that it works for most people, but not others.

I just coded a '14 328d (very nice!) today and this (S1-S7) was already the default for his car. He has the SAT, but no paddles.

Nope, doesn't work for me. I left it in D and DS to check. By the way, it's still to the left

Oh well, I'll wait until my 'MY 335i arrives in 2 weeks, then I will know for sure.

Many thanks anyway.

Hey Tom! Did you add the Sport chassis/drivetrain selection coding to your list?

It was a great meet; the weather was PERFECT, the parking lot was mostly empty, and we had a great turnout!!

Thanks again jimmyktf for helping out with coding. Sorry you couldn't make lunch, it was terrific (Porto's in Glendale; a wonderful place). I'll buy you lunch next time!

Here are some quick point-n-shoot pictures I took. Better and much more professional pictures are coming from others.

Early in the meet:

All lined up (color sorting was totally by accident!!):

All lined up the other way:

Sure did! Nice meet, and it was nice to finally meet a few more of the guys that I've corresponded with so much on the forum.

Likewise bud! Hope you got to hang with Miley Cyrus! I'm gonna organize a cruise sometime in the new year so let's take that epic alpine white photo then.

Had a blast as usual Tom! Thanks Tom and Jimmy for coming out to code for us. Lunch was awesome especially because of the company. Photos to come soon! I'm gonna be posting them in the photo section so we can get some more visibility. Gotta entice the newbs to come out haha.

PM sent.

Anyone in the SoCal area that is interested in coding their F3x and willing to drive out here (Ventura County), just send me a PM and we can set something up.
