31 here. First post first Bimmer. Sold my 09 370z to order a 335i sport. No kids and double income but still quite short of $140,000. I love leasing! Hoping for an early/mid May delivery.

If you don't mind me asking, how can you afford that/what job do you have?

In the middle of all that, I "strayed" and got the new C300 MB the month it came out. I kept it for 6 months and went back to BMW.

I plan to drive the 3 series and X3 throughout my 30s, the 5 series and X5 throughout my 40s and (hopefully) the 6 and 7 series from my 50s onward (I'll probably throw a Porshce or two in here and there as well).

The 3 feels about right for my age, now. I test drove the 5 just just felt "old" (not trying to start a flame war, here). My last car was the 2011 X3, which I kept for about a year. It felt age-appropriate too (albeit a bit large for my liking).
So in 8 years, you've had 9 BMWs and one C300????

Can you pm me what you do? Need good career advice. Thanks!

this isn't personal towards the guy you're quoting, so i hope doesn't think I am aiming this at him...

but a lot of people drive cars they cant afford lol. for all i know, the guy has $25m in the bank so it's just a fun hobby. but just because people have had a lot of cool cars doesn't mean they can afford them

Haha I'm not a drug dealer nor do I have a problem with you asking! I go to college full time but I have my Realtor license so I am able to show properties on the weekends/when I'm not in class. I've been in the real estate industry since I was 9 so I have great network connections and experience.

40 in 5 months. third Bimmer. I should have kept my 1st one. lost cash on my cars from negative equity so did lease this time. Loving the F30. Nurse Anesthetist here. I Always feel guilty spending this much on a car but it's worth it. that's why we work hard

20 here also, and I, too, work VERY hard all while being a full-time student. That's why it's justifiable for us to buy these things.

Haha I like your way of thinking! :] What color interior did you choose with your Mineral Grey? Gorgeous color by the way (I was just afraid it wasn't dark enough for coral red which is why I opted for Jet Black)

I got the black leather with the red highlight, and I agree with you. The coral red interior would look much better on the Jet Black.
