I feel like SOME people see the dual or quad as stealing something from cars that ship that way. This is where their defensiveness and 'hate' comes from. |

So I have a question about exhaust since I'm still a noob lol
Idk how I feel about aftermarket exhaust with them being so spendy and I have a friend who has a 335 exhaust which is the look I'm going for. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on going custom exhaust with y piping or go 335i? I want that look but I hear about muffler delete and idk about anything else lol please help

The 335 muffler will make your car louder, but you're not going to get the really loud mean exhaust sound you're looking for with just the muffler swap. Some members say the 335 muffler with a catless downpipe sounds really good but I don't have a dp. For aftermarket I've heard good things about Awe tunings exhaust.

Could always go with a 335i M performance muffler.

Same, pics show the conversion from 328i to 340i and then the BMS tips.

Hello BMW Experts!
I have a 2017 330i, base body. If I want to put a 335/340 type exhaust on it with exits on both sides, does the center lower valence piece come off for replacement, or is it marked for cutting on the backside, or am I out of luck? TIA, Murf Last edited by Littlebear; 10-30-2021 at 06:03 AM.. |

You give beautiful examples of your cars. Encouraged by your photos and opinions on online forums, I decided to invest in a similar solution. I have a BMW 428i Gran Coupe and used a cat-back resonated system with remotely controlled dampers. The whole is topped with 100mm carbon tips. What do you think?

Where can I find a 335 muffler? I've been looking to add it to my 320 but I'm waiting to find a 335 muffler before I do the rear m sport bumper to change the single outlet of the 320 stock bumper to a dual setup like that 335. Any links or suggestions to find it please???

My question is when to install the dual outlet diffuser? Do you need it to install muffler? |

Hey guys, I'm thinking of installing the 435i dual exhaust into my 328i
Went to muffler shop to get a quote they said I can not do it on my stock bumper because there is not enough clearance on the driver side. There is a heat shield and it looks like a panel that needs to be removed. Anyone know if there is even anything inside there? Since it looks like swapping to the m sport bumper fixes the problem. Thanks |

Sorry for bringing this old thread back up, but I am wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between the 335i exhaust and the 340 exhaust? I'm wanting to put a Remus exhaust on my 2016 328ix F31, and am trying to figure out if there is a difference in the stock mounting locations and/or exhaust tip exits before choosing which one to purchase. Any insight is greatly appreciated!
Also, btw, the Remus 328 exhaust doesn't keep the functional exhaust valve control; hence the reason I'm looking to purchase their 335 or 340 version. Also, their tip selection is WAY nicer on their 335 version, even more so on their 340. |
