The last digits are generated and will change even e.g. when updating.
But normally you don't need to handle WiFi at all. Connection is initiated over Bluetooth and that BT connection will start the WiFi connection.

HU_CHAMP2 is based on CIC and CIC is officially not supported.
Other than sound, does your system work?

My best guess is that the HU_CHAMP2 does not have a separate AUX-in over the quadlock cable but rather in the Combox itself.

The system works great. No issues with AndroidAuto. I can watch movies, but no sound. Reverse camera also works. Now I'm going to replace the power cord with another one that will have an aux output.
Then, I will connect it directly with aux jack in the armrest.

I did not unplug the car's battery, do you think that was the problem?
My biggest concern is that I may have burned the nbt, maybe with short circuit or something like that...
Try rebooting the idrive by holding in the volume control in for around 30 seconds until you hear it switch on.

Nothing. Complete silence from the nbt unit. Unplugged and plugged the can bus several times. I am pretty sure it is well adapted.
Any other ideas? I am now only trying to get the otiginal Idrive live again...

Have you reconnected everything as it originally was, or have you just pulled the canbus cable out of the MMI box ?

Yes. I reconnected everything back together, as it originally was.

I would like to try to unplug the negative terminal of the battery but I don't find it. In my car it is not on the right side of the trunk... There is nothing there...

My battery is under the main floor in the boot/trunk. I am not sure where a 4 series's battery is located but that is a fair bet.

New update v2.0.2.6.gpe.b linked on the 1st page.

First time they provided a changelog. It's all in Chinese, I included a Google translated version.
In short: Some Carplay music bugfix and WiFi channel selection.
No idea yet what they mean with the rest.

The last item mentions an MCU update that they didn't send to me, though.

What is the MCU?

Any changes with the echo?

Any improvements?

I will try and get a couple of Chinese colleagues that speak very good English to have a look at the translation. Maybe we can make better sense out of it

Guse, I would check all fuses relating to head unit, I did the exact same thing when installing my Avin, didn't disconnect the negative terminal and shorted a live wire against the head unit. Once fuse changed, all was well.

Dude. Dude?!

I know it doesn't help now, but always disconnect the battery!

Like others have said, probably a fuse.

The steering wheel experience is confusing me so far. I scroll up in Carplay and all of a sudden it goes the other way!

Any specific settings to fix this?

First impressions :
- the low resolution is a shame. Hopefully they can solve this in future updates.
- for some reason can't connect my phone wireless... It's a xiaomi mi 9t. Do you know if it is phone related? It runs the last Android os.
- the Android apps only work if I previous have opened them on the phone.
- Google assistant works great
- sound quality is good. Similar to the idrive.

Garage List
Finally, my box just got delivered!!!!

I am going to be installing both a front and rear camera to the box as well.

I purchased this for rear camera:
https://naviks.com/i-24075922-2014-2...tegory:1207121

and this for the front (Looks exactly like BimmerTech's):
https://visiontechamerica.com/collec...h-mount-camera

Can someone please help me understand where I run the wires from the harness?

My guess is that the yellow wire (12V Reverse Camera) is the power for the rear camera, The red wire (12V ACC) is the power for front camera, the Black wire(GND) is the ground, and the purple wire (Back) is maybe the rear camera trigger?? Is this correct??

If so, where exactly do I attach the Black and purple wires?? I plan to get the power for the rear camera from the carplay box, not rear lights.

Thanks for your help!!!

The following site's latest firmware update has both the ISP and MCU update .bins in the .rar file: http://indiwork.co.kr/manual-carplayandroid-auto/

I am still waiting on my order so haven't tested any firmware updates.

Goodnews the ISPBOOOT.bin is the same as the one posted on page 1

So this update should be fine for the Andream boxes.
