You may find that its the dimples in the discs. The BMW MPPK brake upgrade that I had on my F31 330D for a while had dimpled discs; no slots. With the windows down I noticed a continuous ppfpfpf noise especially if it reflected off hard surfaces i.e. parked cars or (very) nearby buildings.
If it's more of a thrumming noise it's likely to be the grooves in the discs gently cleaning the faces of the pads.

For daily driving, slotted / drilled / dimpled rotors are not needed. For track duty, more so - since rotors and calipers get hotter and need to be cooled more aggressively.
Once the pad are bedded the noise will subside but unlikely to go away completely. |

For a slotted and dimpled 340mm rotor you'll have to look at Stoptech, R1, and Adams Rotors, that I know of. BMW doesn't make one, and so many oem replacement suppliers don't make one either. The dimensions you need are 340x30mm for the front, or 370x30mm depending on what you have now, but all sets will bolt on regardless of what you have now.
