They literally just slip right on, bit of wood and a few taps with a hammer and job done. Thanks to DexGC for pointing out they fit (just need to slightly bend out the inner clips for a nice snug fit) just fine

704m's are on! Much prefer the way they look on the car compared to the old 403's!

That's it now with the looks, just a few retrofits I want to do left!

Cheers mate, they work loads better than the 403 I think, especially on MG as the orbit grey insides match nicely. Also, less spokes so show off the calipers more!

You do indeed see lci taillights, blackline ones, really suit MG too

I just purchased some 440i tips from a forum member and fitted to 335d. I forgot to bend the clips before fitting. Now they are touching in the middle. Will bending the clips fix this?

Ah, I see what you mean now! Because they are bigger they are quite snug but having bent the clips they do sit just apart on mine. Here's a similar angle pic.....

On the plus side theres less chance of doing damage to the splitter
I find Comfort + ACS to be nicely comfortable.

They look great. What's the part number for those?

I loved the 403s on my 330d, but the 704s have transformed the look of your car, for the better. Looks great.

One last mod. required. The wheelbarrow..
You have the 440 tips, now give them the symmetrical home they were designed for..

P.S Have they a slightly larger outer diameter than the standard M Sport tips (70mm)? Do you have the part number for the chrome version? I read that the black version trend to corrode easily..

As I said I treated my black ones with gtechniq c5 and they are fine. Did the same on my M140 and 18 months and 12k miles later they were as good as new.

Chrome ones are 18307605041.

Cheers mate, I too really like the 403 but the 704’s go sooo well with MG it had to be done. It was that or refurb the 403s as weren’t in the best state, but I reckon I made the right decision.

I do like the wheelbarrow look, but it’s a bit more subtle as is and since debadged I think a lot of people think it’s a 20d. However with 400bhp they quickly get surprised and dissapear backwards in the mirror!
