USA side marker coding to Euro cars

Hi all,

In BimmerCode there’s an option for US side markers which I switched on. There’s another option to have the wing mirror lights switched on but there isn’t an option for both.

Does anyone know how to get both on at the same time? Is there an option I’m missing or maybe is it something that’s done through expert mode??

Cheers

I have seen on bimmercode there are three options: mirror turn signals, separate turn signals, turn signals.
Have you tried separate lights option?
If you tried it can you tell me which specific light is being activated?

Make sure you backup the existing files or export them. You can also note down the original values before you change them.
Try this in expert mode. Use the search function in the top bar . Use custom values to edit the bytes.
1.First Set US sidemarkers to turn signals option.
2.Enter expert mode and check the following if they are set correctly:
MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_L_OUTPUT ==> fra_v_l (0D)
MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_L_FUNCTION ==> standlicht (01)
MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_R_OUTPUT ==> fra_v_r (0E)
MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_R_FUNCTION ==> standlicht (01)
3.Now change these values
For Left Mirror turn signal:
MAPPING_UNIVERSAL_3_OUTPUT ==> 10
MAPPING_UNIVERSAL_3_FUNCTION ==> 01
The rest of MAPPING_UNIVERSAL_3 should match MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_L

For Right Mirror turn signal:
MAPPING_UNIVERSAL_4_OUTPUT ==> 11
MAPPING_UNIVERSAL_4_FUNCTION ==> 01
The rest of MAPPING_UNIVERSAL_4 should match MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_R
4.Code the values.
5.Check the lights if they are functioning as required.

Thanks for that man. I'll give it a go and see how I get on. Really appreciate the input, thanks again!
