Evening photoshoot

As the clouds finally cleared, I decided to do a little car shoot tonight in combination with a trip to Asda
Sourced a good amount of locations around Canary Wharf by now - if any of you are in the area with your nice shiny car, I'll be happy to snap it for you. Now that my wedding business will be on hold for the 2nd year, might as well look into other types of photography. Bored to the point where I joined instagram
Just drop me a DM if you are interested

Like those photos.

Have you ever considered architectural photography? I know someone who does just that, documents certain build / refurbishment projects / historic building works etc from pre commencement through to completion. seems to do OK from it.

Although there will be social distancing, construction is continuing, maybe worth a thought as you clearly have talent there.

Maybe select areas for a electronic flyer to -
Developers
Builders (National & local)
Architects especially ecclesiastical
Conservation officers (Local Authorities)

You can also search Local Authority websites for larger submitted planning applications.

i'm just thinking aloud hope you don't mind?

Thanks for the comments.
Yes, architectural photography was the first type of photography I did professionally.
I skipped it as I developed my wedding business but have done some minor jobs here and there - and architecture is part of every wedding job
Might look into it again as I have the skill and equipment for it, thanks!

Great photos, I'd love you to get some of mine but the chances of it ever being clean enough to shoot and near Canary Wharf are remote..... now if you could combine it with a bit of architecture photography and get it outside one of our hotels (like Royal Horseguards, Grosvenor Victoria, Amba Charing Cross, Hard Rock Hotel London) that would be even better.....

Looks great, some lovely shots there.

I've been meaning to take some photos of the X6 in London, something like those ones with Canary Wharf in the background.

Got to be careful taking photos in Canary Wharf . You need a permit because it's private land, I've seen many people with camera's being told to stop during lunchtime/evening.

Could you take pics of Canary Wharf without the X6?

Ps. Sorry.

I have worked as a photographer for Thomson Reuters/Refinitiv in CW for 11 years and often had issues with security. However, if they approach you they just tell you to move on, generally quite chilled. Key is to not stay in the same place for too long
Most of my shots are outside CW estate though - it looks great from a distance.

Great shots, are you using a tripod or any lighting for those shots, or are they generally just well lit areas?

No tripod and no lighting - I just look for locations which suit what I'm trying to achieve. On the first shot I was lucky a car was passing, throwing some light on the wheels
