Great!
Just one question regarding the flex fuel. Is this a requirement to run multimap or is it recommended?

Not from PTF, but I've been researching this a bit so I'll chime to to see if I can help.

Not required - it is a feature of multi maps. If you don't have a flex fuel sensor installed, multi maps works by running the car in whatever tune you have selected. Multimaps allows you to switch tunes quickly based on different fueling.

Without a flex fuel sensor multimaps also offers all the other benefits like antilag, etc.

If BM3 sees a flex fuel sensor on your system, then it will automatically adjust the current tune to the sensed ethanol value, with the most conservative tune being the currently selected tune. So you want to run your car in the map of the minimum fueling you expect the car to see. For example, if you live on a place that has quality 91 (not ACN) as the pump gas fuel, you would run your car all the time in a Multimap set (stage 1 or 2) with the 91 octane map selected. If BM3 senses 10% or less ethanol, it will run the base 91 tune. If it senses greater than 10% ethanol (ie, you fill up with some e85 to 30%), it will blend in higher torque, ignition and fuel volume targets automatically. In this case it would create targets similar to the E30 map. But the beauty of flex fuel is if you fill up to E25 because that particular Ethanol pump was a bit lower than e85, it will automatically adjust the map to be slightly less than the E30 map.
