Gone to the dark side
Hey all,
Making the move from my 328xi GT to a 535xi GT. Will be shedding some 3er accessories: BMW rubber mats and Weathertech trunk liner, and BMW windshield shade. PM me if interested in any or all. |

I've seen the 535 and the interior is gorgeous. The multi function hatch is odd. If I was in the market for it I'd do a 640GT, but at only 17,000 miles I'm at least 5 years away from my next car.

Besides the color of the new car, you've only "gone to the grey side". At least it's still a GT.
Congrats on the new ride. |

You're gonna need to give us a fair comparison between the two once you get a customed to the 5GT. What prompted the change, what got you into the 5 series?

The 5er is bigger and more substantial in most ways, and more so than moving up from a 3 to 5 sedan because the GT is actually a 7 chassis. Our road to the decision started when our family hauler (a Ford Flex - we love platypus cars!) began failing after 6 years and 135k miles. Did not need sporty for every day...wanted more luxury and versatility and no SUV.
