I believe we will get more people on leaderboard that way and also there are COVID restrictions for track and people who do not have an official track.

I agree about the dragy results. As long is slope is greater than -1% and valid by dragy, it should be acceptable. Infact, in most (if not all) videos I've seen, dragy actually showed slightly slower numbers than the drag strip slips.
