Planning to get Fast FC04 18x8 ET40 square setup for my xDrive f30, wondering if this will fit with no issue? And if yes, what are the optimal size tires to run?

will fit, no issue. 235/45/18. ET40 is a a bit tucked, though

Thanks for the help! Any suggestions to help with the tucked look? Does that mean I need spacers?

yes...spacers, if you want it more flush.

after the rims/tires are installed on your car, you can determine the exact spacer thickness required by plumbing a weighted string from the top center of each fender and measuring the space between the outer rim/tire to the string.

i'm speculating around 7.5mm to make the effective offset (ET40-7.5mm spacer) ET32.5, will be close to the appearance you desire, however since appearance is very subjective, do it via the string method for accuracy.
