Check under the hood to see if you have a new air intake. The cooler and egr should not take 2 days.

I'll take a look. But in their defense they also had to do the HPFP. I changed my HPFP out on my Audi a few times, and it didn't seem like a long job, but I don't know about this BMW.

LOL, my dealership took 3 weeks to do it because they "wer waiting on parts." Plus they tend to take 2-3 days to get a car into the shop after dropoff, despite the fact that I have an appointment and they give me a loaner. I got pretty used to that loaner.

I recently bought a car with this recall open and I was wondering how long it would take...
Also, I know it's been some time but did you notice any difference in the performance or fuel economy? |

Not sure how long it actually takes in man hours, but I just left the car with them and picked it up a few days later as I have a second car.
My 2016 330d's long term average post recall is the same 52mpg it was prior, so I would say not. No difference in performance detected either. I suspect some of the performance drop complaints came from people who had remaps which were overwritten with standard software without their consent. Mine is 100% standard, and I noticed no change. |
