Exclamation F31 Coolant line in the middle of the car?

The coolant is leaking, not dramatically, but the coolant tank needs to be refilled after every ride. When the motor is running I see the leak just behind the front seats, slightly right of the centerline. It’s a PITA getting to that hose, but you can see the remote camera image and the camera cord going under the car to the location. From the camera it looks like a chewed out terminal end of a hose, about 10-12mm diameter.

Question:
Is there a coolant line going that far back from the engine? Perhaps to some exhaust sensor?

PS it is possible that, because the front wheels are up on the stands and so the engine is elevated, that the leak was just channeled from further forward, but the tray is removed and there is that hose with a chewed up end (we have mice around).Name: IMG_5102.jpg

With the shield in place you can't tell where the leak is. That hose could be the A/C drip tube.

I think you’re right about the A/C drip tube!

And yes, after removing the panels the issue is at the engine. There is a rectangular unit, approx 7cm x 15 cm (2.8”x6”) on the driver’s side of the engine block, with two hoses exiting underneath it towards the back. The leak appears to be at the exit of those hoses, but it’s hard to reach and impossible to see. What is that unit? Can I remove it from the engine block?

(The two hoses are marked with red and the leak area in green)

Cover removed. The gaskets seem okay.
Any pointers for my next steps?

Anyway, just to contribute:
I removed the assembly all the way to the engine block. Replaced the gaskets, incl the one with a metal plate. Reassembled.

In case you saw somewhere 22nm torque specs, know that they don’t apply to M6 bolts. Maybe m8. I tightened my m6s to 18nm, which was a 50% overkill.
