Omega Watch repairs

Hi all

Anyone recommend watch repairs service that can service and repair an omega watch please? I know I can send it to omega but wondering if there are good reputable alternatives

Cheers.

Try Watches of Switzerland - they look to be accredited to service and repair Omega.

Hi Panchoa,

Just curious on this bit. Is the watch showing issues or are you keen to keep up with the service schedule?

The hour hand has stopped moving past 9 so needs fixing. It’s 10 years old now so needs a service too tbh.

Fair play. Was just curious, I’m similar had my 25 yeat old Omega serviced only twice and it doesn’t miss a beat. Good luck with the search, when they come back they are like new shown wise!

Pragnell's in Leicester have certified watch repairers in house - I took my Submariner there for its 5 year service last month.

A few years ago i took my Omega Seamaster to Lumbers for service and they sent it to Omega - it came back with a black bezel on it and they never noticed - I hadn't even asked for the blue bezel to be changed.

I had my classic James Bond Seamaster serviced some years ago, think it cost about £350-£400 odd from memory at a proper Omega accredited shop. Quite an extreme price given it's just seals, cleaning and a battery, and it was just the basic quartz version. I hate to think how much the automatics cost to maintain.

Actually to be fair, they do replace the adjuster shafts as well, but still pricey.

Yours sounds like a repair, which might incur additional costs.

I've since switched to an Apple watch because if I have to/want to wear something on my wrist, it does so much more than a classic watch. Shame about the pitiful battery life though

It’s a bit more than that. It’s a full strip down clean / replace rebuild and test. Quite a lot involved in it.

The Submariner is £700 for the service including a full polish
