What should I do about this increasing adaptation value for Clutch C?
First pic was taken on February indicating 486 mBar for the Clutch C fill pressure.
Second pic was taken this week, now at 570 mBar. It’s like my cholesterol. Ba dum tss Anyways, I had just bought the FCP Euro transmission fluid kit with pan and thought to check these values before doing anything. Was going to DIY but now I’m thinking maybe want a shop to look at it, and perhaps swap/repair some components if possible before proceeding with a fluid change. Car is at 97k. I bought it at 69k and I am unaware of any prior transmission fluid change. I didn’t know this was a thing until recently given BMWs position of “lifetime” fluid. Should also point out, I have not noticed any issues with the transmission. But a lot of heavy city traffic is perhaps closing in on me silently. Thanks in advance for any insights or suggestions! |

I would ask a BMW tech. Btw . There's a ZIP kit for the 8hp but that may be premature at this point.
