Thank you! I've already booked ZF for oil and filter change by "dialysis" method (they force new oil until it comes out clean).

I'm having now and then small hesitations in gear change (AUTO and in confort mode), at low rpm ~1400rpm, it may happen in all gears even 7th to 8th. Did the throttle pedal reset, besides only having yer 120k km, i hope that this oil change will fix it.

Does anyone know if 3rd party shops can have the right electronic equipment for the car to pick up the new oil change intervals? (or is this another dealer-only situation?)
Thanks

Just about any trans shop has a fluid exchange machine which may have adapters for the ZF8HP.

However, per ZF the proper method is a simple pan drop and new fluid. The torque converter does not hold a lot of fluid.

So, no to the fluid exchange machine.

Same for engine oil changes. Aside from the dipstick, it’s exactly the same method and tools as any other car on the road.

Only thing that needs to be done is reset adaptations on transmission and transfer case after fluid change. Any shop with bit better OBD scanner can do it.

You don't actually need to do that. On a perfectly functioning ZF 8HP, it should not affect performance or operation.

+1.

Unlike the ZF 6HP no reset required.

You have to tell DME that fluid is changed. That is what resetting of adaptations does, for both transmission and TC.

Ok, but TC absolutely has to be resetted. I personally would reset transmission too.

I seem to remember that there's no option for it under ITSA for this particular transmission.
