I just sent you a pm with the shop name, $2,600 is a lot, that's almost what I paid for getting my block done including forged rods, pistons, melling liners, king bearings etc..

Worth the drive from NYC for sure. Even from outside public transportation range you could spend a day or two at a nearby motel and still come out way ahead.

Sounds like a great deal! I'd want to make sure the shop is experienced doing this job, uses genuine parts, etc. Not to be a wet blanket, but I've come to be suspicious of great deals when dealing with car repairs.

Well they did my timing chain on my n26 328 a year ago and no problems whatsoever. They also do the work on my Porsche Panamera turbo and my Infiniti.
