Black chrome exhaust tips

....for 330d pre LCi anyone bought recently & got any suggestions where's a good place / deal to buy from ?

Getting tired of polishing the chromes & fancy a change.

Try Cotswold Cheltenham parts department, bought mine for around £70 from memory. They were cheaper than my local dealer.

Remember they get discoloured quickly! They are standard on M135i/M140i's, I am on my 3rd set under warranty!

Yes they do. Took mine off the car I’ve just sold. Cleaned them up and there is a few blemishes underneath, one side looks brand new, guess the side facing up.

Still looked brand new on car though, I guess you only see the end really.

I paid £88 delivered for a pair from Elliot Cutter at Harry Fairbairn BMW, Kirkcaldy (that would have been with F3x member discount). They were the 40i ones so I should imagine you'll maybe get the 30d ones slightly cheaper.

Paint them, cost me about £15 and they look identical to the M5's I was parked next to today

FWIW... my eBay set has not discolored or let me down yet. Even have a subtle laser etched ///M logo on the edge.

Have seen BMS tips change color and would stay away from them.

Having stock tips painted with a high temp paint or powdercoat would probably be the best bet, once and done solution. Thats the route Ill be going when I upgrade to MPE.

they were about £75 with no discount unless there has been a price hike!

Yes but is that for the smaller diameter 30d engine tips or the larger diameter 40i tips, £88 delivered seemed to be a good price for my 40i tips as everywhere else I looked was at least £35 more.
