We have a version for the factory exhaust connection or VS-1 3.5" connection. The VS-1 comes with an adapter flange so you don't have to get the downpipe to run the cat back or vice versa.
Very interested. But could you clarify: I have a completely stock exhaust system on my 435i xDrive, can I use this DP bolt-on or would additional modifications be needed? Is the flange extra?

Yes, you can select a downpipe that will bolt on directly with no other mods.

We have 2 turbo flanges you can pick from, 3.5" if your car was built before 07/13, and 4" if your car was built after 07/13.

We have 2 downpipe to exhaust flanges you can pick from, 3" (oem) or 3.5" (CG Precision exhaust).

All options are the same price, you just pick from the dropdown menus when ordering from our website. Also, this has happened before where a guy purchased the DP for the factory exhaust and was so thrilled with the part that he immediately purchased our catback and wanted the downpipe flange changed to 3.5". If that happens we are happy to change the flange for you at no cost, you just have to ship us the downpipe so we can mod it.

Thank you! It's customer feedback like this that makes it all worthwhile. If the exhaust is too good for the ultimate driving machine, I guess were gonna have to start making cars too! Product release might take a while... Get yourself a whole lot of

Wish you would've released this last year, when I dropped $800 on the ER catted ones!

So compatibility only with your exhaust though?

Compatible with factory exhaust connection or our exhaust, just chose the correct flange when ordering.

Also to note, our cat back exhaust system comes with a CNC adapter flange to mate up with dp's that have the factory flange.

  • Ultra-high flow 200 CPSI race catalytic converter
  • True 5" (127mm) diameter catalyst for 56% less flow restriction and better emissions than 4" sports catalysts used by competitors
  • T304 stainless steel
  • Tig welded with chemical weld passivation for enhanced appearance and corrosion protection
  • 3D computer design and flow simulation with minimized bends and gradual transitions for smooth airflow
  • OEM-like fitment with factory O2 sensor functionality
  • Available for 3.5" (pneumatic wastegate) or 4" (electronic wastegate) turbo connections
  • CNC flanges and precision laser-cut brackets

*Only fits with CG Precisions VS-1 or R-1 catback exhaust system
** Also available with factory exhaust connection flange

Nice - does CG Precision make a 3.5" turbo system for M235i with adjustable length tailpipes to suit M135i [3" shorter tailpipes than M235i] as I'm a prospective customer for 3.5" catted DP and matching CBE here in the UK.

PM price incl. delivery please...

YES! We have our non-catted version called the DR-1. It's been out for a little while now. Check it out on our website at www.cgprecision.com.

Thanks!

Qwk questions:

1. What is diameter of outlet on Turbo(exh) of my 2016 435i ? 3" ? 3.5" ? 4" ?

2. What is diameter of the oem downpipe connection at this point also?

3. What is oem diameter of downpipe (connection to exhaust) ?

4. Im not understanding if i have 2 connection points from oem turbo , and then oem exhaust ..... How can an aftermarket downpipe be larger ????

Isnt the factory connection spots, the "bottleneck " ????

Also, i guess your catalytic downpipe "flows" better ....???

Pm me cost plz...for factory (oem) connections , i have no exhaust.

Also,

What hp/torque will it add to my car :

2016 435i coupe F32/N55. JB4 Map 1, no intake, no exhaust.

Also, is it ok to add downpipe without exhaust ?

Good question, it is very close in flow to a catless DP and the effect on sound is that it will increase the exhaust note approximately the same amount, but without increasing the rasp as catless DP's do. That said, these cars don't produce very much rasp with a catless DP, but to many, a high flow catted DP sounds the best.
