London hotel
I am looking for a decent hotel for one night around Vauxhall bridge or Chelsea Bridge, preferably with parking or parking available nearby for overnight. I don't know that area at all well - any recommendations?

Tower Hotel at Tower Bridge and Royal Horseguards at Embankment. Former will be cheaper, latter is a 5 star so will be a bit more but still silly cheap at the moment!

The Horseguards looks really nice and is a lot closer to where we need to be the next morning. It's Monday 5th we'd need the room - double room for 2 adults.. Can you get me a price? Work are paying so i need to then double check it with our expense policy :-)

He'll not be a VIP at that place - or get views of the Thames and London Eye (not guaranteed at RHG but maybe...) And our breakfasts are great! |

Pretty sure room will be £95 inc breakfast with 2 occupants. And I will try and get you a river view if you take it! |

Valet parking suspended as we are on reduced staff for reduced occupancy and cant guarantee someone who is insured will be on duty to drive but nearest car park is the Q park at Trafalgar square which is 5 mins walk away.... Edit - I knew that as I look after insurance and had to restrict who could drive! Last edited by isleaiw1; 09-25-2020 at 01:07 PM.. |

Rate above can be applied to anyone on the forum with very few exceptions - will only include breakfast if you book and stay before Nov 30th as its stands. If you want the Tower hotel, £75 (same rule re breakfasts) and I can probably swing free parking if I try hard.... |

I have a friend that is very hard to please always finds issues with hotels (and most things in life) very successful chap and always stays at the RHG when in London, so I think the OP will be in for treat especially at that rate Ian has got for him.

I will, I've stayed at the tower bridge a few times over the years myself, thinking back to central London pricing last year that price is amazing.
