I just installed PX6 from andream, can someone tell me if im on the latest firmware? I attached picture.
Also anydody know in factory settings, arm ,which cd host needs to be selected? Alpine or Harman? I have basic audio.
factory amp or external box? Don't we all have external amp thats in the trunk?
What are these check mark AUX/TV? Dont sound like any of these settings change anything.
Unfortunately i had to use aux cable to get sound and not happy with quality obviously. Volume is low and missing high freq compare to my phone or radio.

Yes you have latest firmware installed. Alpine is the right setting for basic audio and factory amp also.

There is an update for PX6 2019110401 which I already installed a few weeks ago. There is no real difference I would stay at that version when there is no bug.

The Second thing is also a notice worth, i reported the Bluetooh issue and the workaround to disable Bluetooth to a chinese Seller some time ago.
Now they really implemented a feature to disable Bluetooth !
This is the first time i know where feedback from a customer has lead to a new feature

I also Updated my Factory_config.xml file to the latest version, with following changes to the Original one.

* Translated chinese text to english
* Added 6 additional GUI`s selection
* Added DAB-Z App to DVR App list, to allow use of DVR Tile for Starting it (only ID5/ID6 GUI)
* all known Headunits from different factory_config.xml files added
* some additional Language Support activated
* Changed default Factory Password to "0" (Zero)

I recommend to compare this file settings with your current one before updating

Idrive does only work for the Carplay/AA Adapter, for other non default Apps you still need additional Idrive listener.

Afaik it does not really matter.

You can enter whatever text you want, but if you need to send a Screenshot of Systeminfo to your seller for troubleshooting it`s better to have the Text showing Version from your sellers lastest version, not something other

Edit: sorry i mixed things up, this String is only visible at the "Profile import" screen, not the Systeminfo Screen.

I just subscribed for this thread.

I also installed the latest 3.8.0 and got some more things to confirm which are at least new to me.
i come from 2.8.3 and MCU 190816.

I got the snapdragon version for CIC E61. i ordered it from Mekede.

I updated both app and mcu my app is now 3.8.0 and the MCU is 191129 now.
the idrive controller now also works in apps like spotify and waze. i can scroll playlist with the controller in spotify select songs open playlists and so on. its not super intuitive yet but it definitely works. I havent tested other apps than these 2 yet.

I can select a different music app so the left selection menu in the main menu now starts spotify when i click on music. The music player in the tile is still the default and dont change with it sadly
I also got the idea but cant verify offcourse that my audio has become a load better.

i already installed the paid extreme audio app (my device isnt rooted) but its only after the update to 3.8.0 that i got the feeling the bass and treble got much clearer instead of sounding a bit muddy still earlier. I cant think of anything to improve on the audio even more at the moment. im quite happy. But i cant confirm its the update to 3.8.0 and i guess the version i was on is quite old i guess.

The brightness settings also got some new functions to dim on sunrise/sundown.

i also got my simcard working which needed to be inserted in a odd way. and got full 4g reception.

Where i would like some improvement is the readability with polarized sunglasses on. That is the one thing that i still dislike about our device. the screen practically is unreadable. anyone knows if the front screen protector can be removed? i tried it carefully but that looks like it sticks quite good. thats maybe something to do with the polarizing? anyone got an idea how to maybe improve this?

Yep, thats probably the reason, since 2.8.3 serval updates came out where the audio drivers have been updates, so i likely that the quality has improved

Cool ill be sure to uninstall magisk / edxposed and the listener app before I reboot and update.. This i great news, If I can get the audio app to work too that would be even better... Pretty sure thats the app I paid for in hopes to leverage the DSP.

I meant the night mode. Didn't see it before or looked over it. It can be set manually to go to night mode or off. but it can also appearantly now also do it itself on sunrise/sundown. dont know where it gets that info from but it looked like it worked. but i was indeed on quite a old version. hadnt updated it since i got it delivered 3 weeks ago. i actually even read all 88 pages of this and even the previous topic first haha.

Well im quite happy with the sound now and i even had to route it to the aux in my armrest since i got the bluetooth module on my front aux and i still use the BT from the original for calls since that is also a bit horrendous in the SD625 version. You did mention something updated on the audio driver side in this 3.8.0 version also right, or?

You mean the extreme audio app or? i believe it works and alters the audio to the better in a non rooted environment. i dont know how it sounds in a rooted environment tho since i do read you actually have to root to be sure to get all the audio upgrades. But im quite happy how the unit sounds now
And then to think off that i bought this since i didnt like my invery ipod device integration with the CIC and android. i like to be able to see the track information. that was the sole reason of this buy actually :P

Hy,

I don`t have HUR, so probably you can test this for us and give feedback
but it probably will, the question is only does ist work for all apps like it should, as the key binding is always the same and not adapted to every single app.

I just tried wi-fi with HUR and it works!
Only the pressure and the arrows work, not the sliding of the knob but it's fine anyway

Does the "function remember the last mode" work? In my device always remember the last mode, I want to start in the OEM side always but
