I have just bought my first ever BMW (G21 01/2020 Touring) and I started to see how I can utilize functions such as GPS Activation (so I can track it through the app), update maps, and use the rest of the features...

I was told that I cannot do any of these if I don't update my ID6 to ID7 and to do that I need to replace the MGU.

Is there a way I can activate GPS and update maps w/o doing the switch since it costs over 1.3k
