ID4 Hardware has 2 Gb of Ram. ID5 has 4 Gb. If you flash ID4 Hardware with ID5 Firmware, it will run slow, and suffer frequent reboots as it does not have enough memory. Also, unless car has a functional ATM module, you will loose all Telematics (e.g. RTTI).

I think it's faster evo id4 what nbt 609 professional.
the maps evo. I do not know if they are better than NEXT of the NBT?

Although NBT2 ID4 and NBT2 ID5/6 run the same EVO map, the issue is the ID5/6 firmware on ID4 hardware runs sluggish.

Can anyone confirm if there's any different requirements between 2.8.0 and 2.8.2? I'm trying to install it onto a family members W7 laptop and 2.8.2 just crashes on launch, yet 2.8.0 opens perfectly fine.

Java is up to date at version 181 and .net framework 4.7.2 - anything else I should be checking?

*update to my last post, formatted his laptop with a fresh install of Windows 7 64bit and it's still the same - I can only presume then 2.8.2 has a major bug and doesn't work?

I'm having the same issue with 2.8.2 in W10, but mine doesn't even open up never mind crashing.

Anyone else having this issue?

Run with Admin rights, and make sure Windows has latest Java and Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime components installed.

im new to coding and watched loads of videos but just some detailed instructions or a link would be great

Think what I might do is uninstall it all and then reinstall it, do you know of any issues with Windows 10 and E-Sys?

Yeah made sure of that too - I'm not too sure what the deal is honestly, 2.8.0 works perfectly fine so I'm not too sure whats changed to make it not work
