If you ever come to Dunkeld; go there for food/coffee/cake etc. It's the best...

Dunkeld is just lovely. Love the walk up to the Hermitage as well. Hope you are recovered enough to get up there.

I've gone along the river into the village this morning and back again; that's enough for now...

Done the Hermitage many times; it's a good walk and some fantastic trees up there; absolutely massive some of them!

The walk around the cathedral is good if you're ever back there...

Think we'll have a jaunt up to House of Bruar tomorrow; see what I can't afford/don't want to afford

Yesterday was a walk around St Andrews city University and cathedral etc. Parking was cheap. (£2.2 for 2 hrs in St Andrews centre its £1.4 for 15 minutes in glasgow city centre) by glasgow standards Then Golf hotel in craill for lunch. overall a good day.Back now but feel refreshed.

How'd you manage to get Dunkeld mixed up with Dunkirk when we're all talking about Scotland? Haha

Yup; it's an easy 2 hour drive from Glasgow or 1.5 hours if you put your foot down a bit; if traffic is good... Soon as you're passed Stirling you're at Perth then all of a sudden you're at Dunkeld!

Feeling good thank you; recovery going well and even back doing very light training up until Saturday; a week off and back at it again I think unless we stay another week (work load depending etc)

I like St Andrews; it's a very interesting walk around

Don't know where everyone else is currently but it's foul here currently... Non stop rain and mist/fog all afternoon and 1.5°C temps all afternoon...

But the fires been roaring in the Taybank in Dunkeld and the ales been on form... So not all bad.

My Dad's caught a couple of cracking salmon too. So he's very happy (although he snapped his £3k Sage rod)
