Acceleration, Loss of Power and Delayed Turnoff

Hey everyone,

I am noticing a bit of a problem with my 2014 335i X-Drive. Basically when I accelerate, the car jumps rpm suddenly as if it lost power and then gained sudden boost and then normalized. (I.e. jumps from 2500 to 4500 suddenly after holding down the accelerator), then when I let off the gas (closer to 4500 rpm - this was a test. I never actually drive around this range) it takes a second to drop RPM. (kinda like rev hang almost). It’s really only during hard acceleration as in when I’m overtaking another vehicle for example.

I changed my spark plugs two days ago so that’s not the problem. My guess is clutch related? by the way the car is manual transmission.

Anyone know what could be wrong?
