It was pretty brutal up here in the Lakes - the strongest winds I’ve seen - it even managed to twist one garage door, buckling the frame, meaning the 8 was stuck inside. I’ve had a few trees down too. I put the logs there to stop it moving any further until the storm was over. Now we have Storm Jocelyn hot on its heels. So far Jocelyn doesn’t seem anything like as bad.

The wind has pulled out my van's door few times during opening, luckily it has a latch to restrict its movement. I've seen people was paying little attention to the wind when parking on a roads and disembarking, door would just snatch all the way out.

The latch to restrict movement sounds like a very good idea.
