BTW...my dealership has no clue about an update and says they will have to have my car for a day or two to check it out. Why don't they know about this update?

Dealers seldom have the latest Maps nor ISTA/P. But unless you want to pay them $300 or more, I wouldn't even be asking them about it.

Hi Shawn, can you please send me the actual procedure for updating the map? I have the map on a 64GB USB stick, plugged it into the arm rest USB port but nothing happens and I didn't find an "Update" feature anywhere in the Navigation menus, how can I invoke the actual update procedure where it will eventually ask for the activation code (I have that)?

Well, generally speaking, if the USB Stick is properly constructed, you simply plug it in the proper USB Port, and wait 60 seconds, and the CID screen will pop up a message recognizing newer map version, and prompting you to update. If you got Map Update from Gerry, you would have received very detailed instructions for correct update procedure.

Sorry Shawn please disregard my question, I've figured it out , wasn't copying the contents of the MAP folder onto the root of the USB stick but the folder "as is" hence my problem, it's updating now.

Ok, good deal. 99% of the time it is a USB Construction issue.
