Map update not starting in F31

I have downloaded BMW Europe move 2018-1 and moved it over to root of usb but when I plug it into the car nothing happens. I've read in different places about 3 files on CIC mimicking the 3 discs. But there is not that on the 2018-1 move. Can anyone help or has had the same issue??

That should do the trick.

But you do put it in the GLOVEBOX USB drive, right?

Never installed move maps, but looks wrong on quick view. Is that how it appeared in initial download?

So there were not individual folders?

Is that exactly how it looked inside "NAVD_0000085F_255_004_240" folder?

Found the problem
And solution.
Yesterday i finally update one friend F30 2013 with 2018-1 MOVE
In the firsts trys i use a usb pen 64Gb in NTFS format and don't working.
Solution
USB PEN 16Gb - Format FAT32 - put the files in the root of pen and VOILA magic starts
if your car have a usb in the glove compartment use that one, it is the only one that work for updates.
And you will need de FSC code

cheers

Hey massarico!

I used a 16gb stick anyway because my bigger one was used for Next-2018 Maps which are around 32gb.
But I think the FAT32 Format is the key point! I knew older BMW Systems can‘t deal with NTSF but I didn‘t think about checking my stick.

Sometimes the solution is right in front of you but you can‘t see it

Must be formatted on Windows Computer.
MAC puts hidden files that makes it hard for BMW to read.
