Being that said, I don't believe the majority of the cunts shooting up schools are mentally ill. It's an easy cop-out

It's anger directed towards society because they feel they aren't getting something the world owes them.
Again its funny how certain people always get the mentally ill term thrown around but other certain people are terrorists.

When did I specify dates? There are minimal cases accounted for after the 1960s due to public backlash against the horrid conditions as well as skyrocketing costs. Btw "One Flew over a Coockoo's Nest" along with other publications brought to light these conditions to the masses.

But maybe you are omnipresent and all these people are liars.

Due to lack of IQ - mental retardation. Does everything need to be spelled out?

Lack of IQ doesn't equal mental retardation.

"One flew over the cuckoo's nest" is a "novel." That means it's a "work of fiction." It was written in 1959, by a guy who experimented - a lot - with LSD and other psychotic drugs.

You might want to do more research.

Doesn't matter what the numbers say - you can't use the word libtard - forget about it.

I never went as far as blaming the NRA, but did single out assault rifles as a factor in the prevention of mass murders. Only a factor. While a gun is a gun, high capacity semi-auto weapons make it a lot easier to cause more damage in a shorter amount of time. Time is the key element here.

I don't see the need for civilians to need these type of weapons and I think there has to be a sacrifice in the fun in using these weapons to the higher amount of deaths they can cause in the case of someone wanting to commit a mass murder.

But once again, I only think this is a piece of a puzzle that we will never be able to completely solve.

Again its funny how certain people always get the mentally ill term thrown around but other certain people are terrorists.

I know many people who have had to deal with times in their life that were "unjust" or that they felt were unjust. Divorces, job loss, cyber bullying, even defamation of character that was based 100% on lies which led to job loss. None of those people went and shot up their school, workplace, made threats online, or harmed their ex-spouse. Many of them own multiple weapons. So what is the difference between those people, and the ones who decide to vent their frustration on society by killing others?

Life isn't fair, and it NEVER will be fair. There have been a few times in my life where I thought about harming another person because of damaging things they had done to me or other people both mentally and physically. The difference is that I'm level headed enough to know not to do that, and besides the brief idea of it, reality sets in and mental sanity allows me to think clearly. You can't tell me that the only difference between me and someone who follows through with committing a harmful act on other people is that they feel they are owed something and are taking out their anger. Many of these shooters do not show remorse for their actions.

Apples and oranges. New Zealand has a population of ~4.75M (a little more than half the population of NYC) and is isolated geographically.

Factually, New Zealand is 36th on the list when it comes to intentional homicide rates - so there are places where you're much, much less likely to be murdered than New Zealand, e.g. Andorra, Lichtenstein, Japan, Singapore, Norway, Austria, etc - of course, none of them are good comparisons to the United States, either.

So, what these places "are doing" almost certainly doesn't translate to the reality of what the United States is or could possibly do.

No...you are just lazy. If you put half of the work solving this problem that you put into evicting Skunkwerks , this woulda been solved long ago. It seems that taking out skunky just took the wind out of your sails permanently. It's kinda sad. Now I'm depressed. Anyone got an SSRI to loan me?

Lazy? Ahhh...but I do more by midday than most people do in a day or two.

I already outlined my plan in one of these threads: Multi-faceted plan--School security (walls), shared law enforcement database and banning AR rifles. Not that hard to implement.

As for skunks....easy. As for the raccoons that always want to slurp out of my waterfall and make a lot of noise at night, I have taken care of them as well.

As for you depression, Plantation Rum has been a proven winner.

As for sails, can they be fitted to a van?

Something about turning our schools into a prision camp like campus and armed teachers does doesnt feel right.
I'm all for ensuring school security policies and perhaps an armed checkpoint guard w/maybe metal detectors
BUT again the problem isnt with guns its with the mentality
some kid who wants to shoot up schools could find guns (parents, illegal buy, steal etc)
..an accomplice could open a side door and let in arms
The mentality of violence needs to change
sports needs to display more sportsmanship and team-work and focus less on individual grandstanding (whos gonna make them?)
TV and movies need to depict more caring programming (whos gonna make them?) with onus on resolution of issues through communication rather than the easy approach of "offing" whomever doesnt agree with you or are in your way
Violent video games like grand-theft auto etc need to be considered for adults (who should know better..discern reality from play)
Parents need to find time to be parents and not "friends" to their kids (how with parents already overworked?)
Better and more comprehensive background checks for purchasing guns

People need a more activist approach to these issues..
ie.. people didnt like the NFL players taking a knee..
we turned off football games on sundays..
anyone else taking a knee anymore?

We need a better plan. A goodly plan. Big league. The wall is reserved for the border...we can only do one at a time. You know it, I know it, everybody knows it.

Are there special security skunks? We need to do some research on this.

Not a fan of rum but I will take this under advisement. Speaking of the v@& is now verboten. Don't do it or there will be men in black suits and sunglasses coming for a visit.

Alert! Everyone on this discussion, avert your eyes. This was fair warning, but whenever MK wants to reroute the discussion, he throws in these pics to scatter everyones brains, then he comes in for the kill. One of his tactics.
