Pushing around 500-540 whp with custom tune.
After long consideration I have decided to upgrade the hpfp and get a custom tune. I'm going for the Full E85 by Cary Jordan and they said I should be looking around 500whp-540whp. Any tips on running this much power on N55?

I'm not familiar with the Vargas, but 500-540whp seems high for a stage 1 turbo. Assuming the turbo is good for that power goal at full E85, keep in mind that you might encounter LPFP issues at 500+ whp if you're still on the stock LPFP depending on the tuning strategy.
I'm doing about 600-620whp on full E85 on a Walbro 525 lpfp and it's about at the limit.

You’ll need a stage 2 turbo to make that sort of numbers.
Peter at pure turbos eu makes 530-550whp with ps2, upgraded hpfp and a hcp map on most of the 35i engines they do. Solid recipe to make that kind of numbers. |

I'll just add +1 to basically everything above:
1. Reaching 500whp with stage 1 turbo will be very difficult/impossible 2. Full E85 will require LPFP upgrade, which potentially requires EKP upgrade as well. Stock LPFP runs out of steam around E70 on stock turbo, maybe a little earlier for you. Plus, lots of diminishing returns after about E50-60. 3. Try the BM3 stage 2+ OTS map before you spend money on a custom tune. (With HPFP and around E50) |

The manifold itself will flow enough to reach those numbers, but I'm not sure the compressor and exhaust wheels on a S1 will flow that much.
Probably hit reversion (exhaust gas backed up into the cyclinders) and sky-high exhaust gas temps before you get that much airflow through an S1. |

Im on PS2 LPFP HPFP + Meth, 93 made 500 flat on my dyno, I think the stage 1 turbo will blow if you tryn to run it past 450WHP,
If my tuner suggested me to run something like that knowingly it wouldn't/Not meet my goals and have me pay, I'd have major trust issues. |

I have a similar setup but w PS2. See below. Question is do you guys think I need the turbosmart diverter instead of the BMS bov adapter and is the ekp needed with my fp upgrades? Also should I run eXX mix or 110oct for Dyno max pulls?
