B58 midpipe + downpipe?

Anyone pair a midpipe and catted downpipe on their b58 car?

I was looking at Dinan midpipe and waiting to see what catted downpipes are available...

Is there another midpipe that is cheaper and/or better fitment to variety of downpipes?

Any gains on dyno from a stage 1 tune, by adding downpipe and/or midpipe?

A downpipe alone will give you noticeable (although not massive) gains.
Not sure what you expect from a mid-pipe. Replace the entire exhaust or do an axle-back replacement (E.g. BMW MPE).

I have done a catless Wagner DP with the Dinan midpipe. Connected very easily, didn't need to modify anything. As above, only the downpipe would give you any kind of performance gains. Midpipe is only for sound as it gets rid of the resonator(s). The Dinan midpipe also fitted on to the stock backbox easily without any modification (apart from cutting the stock midpipe to separate it from the backbox).

I have the CTS 200 CPSI cat DP and the Dinan mid-pipe. I think it is a little too loud and a little too raspy.
I had the mid-pipe with the stock cat and thought the sound was PERFECT. So, I am disappointed and considering having a bottle type resonator installed in the mid-pipe.

I had the same thing happen with me I had a vibrant resonator installed back in the mid pipe and it helped a lot to clean up the tone

As mentioned, dp will add power, midpipe is just sound. If you just want a little more sound after adding the dp have the larger resonator in the stock midpipe replaced with a straight pipe for cheaper than the dinan midpipe.

Downpipe will get you more power than a midpipe. In terms of sound, both will offer more volume.

The Dinan midpipe will fit any downpipe, I recommend the active autowerke catted downpipe to avoid any CEL .
