That's a fine idea.. A visual clue instead of a beep.

Personally I dislike the beeps.. Times have moved on from the 90's with audible beeps and 'move away from the vehicle' prompts.

I've never seen the point of a beep.

I understand that some like to hear an audible sign the car has locked, but the sound of locks closing is pretty loud I can hear it from quite a distance. Even from inside the house if I listen carefully.

Sorry to wake the dead horse, I have a 2013 F30 with ID6 NBT Evo HU that i retrofitted, I applied this, the option shows in the HU but when I click to activate it it just doesn’t want to, is there anything that I can do ? I appreciate any help

BTW if I lock the car while running it does “bip”

I can set this in the idrive with no coding required (not a 3 series but a 7) I thought I'd try it but changed it back immediately, no one wants to hear that every time you get home.
