As stated above, the main reason to continue using LL-01, at least for me, is to avoid any issues with warranty claims down the road.

Very fair stance, not worth risking warranty for such a minor thing. I trust you save your receipts.

Pricier single quart units that's not off the shelf and must be ordered from Walmart, but it seems like this is the best I can do. Actually comes out to a decent deal after $20 mail in rebate from Pennzoil.

These are not cheap. An alternative is 5 liters of BMW Twinpower LL01FE 0w30 + oil filter $62 shipped.

I dont. I honestly cant wrap my mind around sending used oil through the mail to get free fresh oil in return. For free. I just don't understand. Im super stubborn... maybe one day Ill try it.

Until then... I religiously use eBay and occasionally Amazon.

Oh i don't mean using them for their returns program.

I just meant buying the oil from them. I considered buying the liqui moly oil change kit from them just for convenience (everything put together) but yeah i wouldn't bother returning the old stuff

FCP Euro's warranty covers absolutely everything on their website. Oil is included.

Do you use FCP Euro for oil?

How does this FREE oil work.... I/we are very confused. How could anyone besides the post office be making money?!
