Traded my F48 X1 for a Gran Coupe

I love it. It's the BMW that nobody buys which makes it rare.

Love ours as well, not only looking good but practical as well with that hatch opening.

I would have done the same but for the rear seat room...thus the GT instead. But, you have a great car...enjoy!

Why do you say it's the one nobody buys? They wouldn't build it if that was the case. It's on the production scale of a 4-series coupe, so yes more rare than the ultra high-volume 3-series. It's actually selling more than the Coupe! I would go back to my 2015 GC any day over my 3-series sedan. In fact, I just sold my 3-series, so maybe I will!

there was a blog article saying "4GC is the coolest car nobody buys", citing sales number that GC only took less than 20-30% total 4 series sales. It is much less popular than its elder sibling coupe,at least in CA. just see how rare it is on California roads. not sure other parts of world. If OP is in California GC is rare. but I doubt non-bimmers can tell any difference between 3 and 4GC

It looks terrific and drives wonderfully but the rear seat headroom is comical. I love putting 6' plus people back there for laughs.

Beautiful car. Congrats. It's especially uplifting that you traded in a crossover for it.

I love going against the norm. Back when there was a mantra of 'buying American' I bought nothing but Japanese and European cars.

During the 2000's the imports were all the rave and I got nothing but Chevy trucks and cars.

Now SUVs are hot ticket items and you guessed it, I bought a low slung sports sedan instead.
