19" Tires in Ontario for xDrive Fitment
I'm trying to source some new tires and rims for my xDrive, but I can't seem to find the tire sizes from Ontario tire shops, nor does TireRack have them.
My tire options are: - Firestone Indy 500 - Michelin A/S 3+ None of these tires come in 235/40R19, which is for the xDrive setup, but both manufacturers have 265/35R19. I'm guessing most people are running MPS4S, but that's out of my budget. There is Continental ExtremeContact Sport with both tire sizes, but the Indy 500 and A/S 3+ seem more affordable to me and highly recommended, especially the 500's since they are budget-friendly and dedicated summers. Does anyone have input where I can find these tires or any other options that could be run? Otherwise I'd have to pick a squared setup like 245/40R19 or 255/35R19 Thanks in advance. Hey Patel151,
I recently picked up a set of these for my xDrive...to keep to the 1% difference between the front and rears. Yokohama Advan Sport A/S Plus V406 235/40R19 265/35R19 |

I'll look into Yokohama, I know it's a well known brand though. The 235/35 and 265/30 might be too low profile for my needs, plus I read it's short for the F30. 235/40 and 265/35 seems like the sweet spot for me. I'm currently running 245/40 and 275/35, and I'm pretty sure I'm getting some jerkiness when I switched from my square setup, which sucks because this setup looks nice. Then again, 245/35 and 275/30 is low profile as well compared to the 40/35 setup.
I've never ran Yokohama, always sticked with Conti's and Michelin's, hence the reason why I'm looking into these specific tires. The DWS06 are great summers, it seems like the ExtremeContact Sports are the new ones though, correct me if I'm wrong. |

That's the size I have on my F30. I am running Indy 500's and they're amazing tires. Grip for days. They don't have the best thread life. 25,000km is what I got with mine w/o tracking.

I'm currently running 245/40 and 275/35 (0.4%) and I love how the tires look from the back, especially since I'm lowered on H&R Sports. The only problem here is I switched from 18" squared setup and the staggered didn't quite feel right. Anyways, downsizing to a 225/40 and 255/35 would take that away. So, the tire sizes below seem ideal between OEM staggered size and similar.
After reading up through threads, it seems like the consensus is: 1. 235/40R19 and 265/35R19 (0.4%) 2. 235/35R19 and 265/30R19 (0.8%) 3. 235/35R19 and 275/30R19 (0.1%) 4. 245/35R19 and 275/30R19 (1.2%) I'm leaning towards the Indy 500 now, and they would make a great summer set. The good thing is the Indy 500's are available in these sizes except for 235/40. I just can't seem to figure out if it's just me or the car has very minimal jerking problems with my current setup, otherwise my 245/40 and 275/35 would have been great with Indy 500's. |

Can you guys post up pictures with your setup? I might just go with 225/255 since its OEM staggered fitment. Specifically trying to figure out if they will protect the lip of the rim or not. I know 245/275 and 235/265 would give the lip some protection, but not sure about 225/255.
