Illuminated Door Sills

Anyone got illuminated door sills?

Seems only delivery from US, or £400+ from uk!

Any decent uk websites for keen (albeit novice) modders?

im sure you can buy the sills from oembmwparts and do it yourself. I did it for a buddy on his G37 and it was real easy.

i wish they made the ///M door sills illuminated

Read on a forum that they were standard for 2014 Fxx.

Guess I want to mod but going for the beginners mods!

I just ordered the illuminated door sills for about $180 US from ecs tuning. Apparently its a very easy install, I just haven't had time to install them yet. They are battery operated, so no wiring is required.

You open car climb in and close door.

Not actually sure the last time I looked down at my feet / door sill when getting in to car.

Well they certainly have attracted a few comments from passengers so someone must notice them, and then once in the car of course they can't be seen but then its nice to look at the matching LED strips in the door cards

no wiring? thats even awesomer....shouldnt take more than 5 minutes to do. relatively cheap and easy mod

it is only for a few seconds....definitely not tacky. its not OMG LOOK AT ME bright...its very subtle. it adds a nice touch and i would occasionally get a compliment on them when I had them in my G

Hi, they are standard fitment on the Golf GTD and GTi, VW seems to be a bit LED crazy on these cars with all external lights LED and interior lighting.
