Thank you for reviewing my log, I didn't intentionally hold it at 90% it was on accident

So anyone dyno their car yet? Brought my car to a local dyno shop (Sheepey Race) and did 3 pulls.

Car is 335i PWG with chargepipe, turbo to intercooler chargepipe, intercooler, catless downpipe (All Evolution Racewerks products) running with BM3 OTS stage 2 E30 tune.

Anyone want to guess my numbers before I post official results?

Thanks for shooting me that link for the ethanol calculator!
No problem, it feels like you were not getting the E mix right. Seemed it was low on E, even below E25 whereas you should be around E30 for an E30 map.

Not familiar with that, I've mostly only seen Dynojet and Mustang dyno results on the forum.

Can I get some quick feedback on these logs? I just flashed the car to Stage 1 ACN91 v7.1 on Friday night (got a nice Black Friday price!). Also flashed BM3 TCU.

2014 335i EWG Auto (RWD) @69k miles. I bought the car with about 54k miles on it from a BMW dealer and I have never changed the plugs. Not sure what is in there now. Most likely stock with stock gap. AFE drop in filter, VRSF charge pipe, and Evolution Racewerks catted downpipe are my only engine mods.

No concerns on how it's running right now and no codes. Runs good and pulls strong. I did a 4th gear pull in Sport+ from 2500-6500 and a 1-4 pull from a dig in Sport+ with transmission in Sport and let it shift. Links are below and I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Logs looks good. Your HPFP is keeping up nicely. Your timings are a little bit wonky but I'm guessing that's due to shitty gas? Boost pressure is keeping up so I don't think you have any leaks. Only thing that concerns me is your IAT's. Your FMIC is getting soaked at the end there.

As mentioned above boost control is fine. Its the IAT rise that reflects the stock IC that is the 'issue'. Your IAT rise is 35 F in a 4th gear pull and 52 F in the 1-4 pull... which is why i always tell people you should get an IC even for stage 1. So that should definitely be your next mod. You might get by with one pull now while its cool outside but imagine starting the pull when its 100F outside in AZ.

Timing and knock is the other thing. Probably fuel quality in AZ as expected, so not much you can do about it but keep IATs down with an IC. You have 1 knock in the 4th gear pull and 2 in the 1-4 pull. Timing isnt completely horribly having said that. Fresh plugs might help, but i wouldn't get your hopes up for that. If its time to do them anyways, it wouldnt hurt.

Thank you both for the feedback! Yeah, I'm sure the crappy AZ gas is causing the timing issues. I can get E85 nearby. Would a half or full gallon clean that up on a full tank? FMIC will certainly be next. Most likely in the Spring before the summer heat hits.
Eventually I will go Stage 2 and maybe try my hand at E30.

0.5-1gal E85 will probably do nothing, even if it is high E content. If you want to go down the E85 mixing route, which i do highly recommend if you want to make good power with crappy 91 using the E maps (I am in the same boat), read the recent thread on it and get yourself a test kit. If you want to try a little on the pump gas maps, you can probably get away with 3 gallons easily on stage 1 maps since the boost is lower and you shouldnt have to worry about HPFP crash. 2 gallons might be enough for ACN 91, but i would try 2.5 or 3 for 91 map. https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1774205

Thanks again! I've been reading about mixing and will get a test kit. I'll try a couple of gallons of E85 on my next fill up and take some logs. Appreciate your feedback.

I have a question about the aftermarket HPFPs. Say I have a map loaded, and today I install a Dorch pump. Once I select the a/m pump under map config, that's all that is needed? All scaling is taken care of with that check box? Just click it, and any map is now compatible with that pump, or you still need a re-tune?

Speaking of, am I correct in watching iat's, timing, knock, and boost vs targets most closely?

I just started reading logs myself, so I'm no expert, but I see that the 3rd gear pull was between 2064-5100 rpm and the 4th gear pull was between 2074-6237 rpm. Look to see where the throttle angle goes 100% and then lets off (under 100%), other than throttle closures that may be from the DME.

In addition to what you listed to watch, I also pay close attention to knock, HPFP and STFT.

Yes, you simply select the your brand of HPFP.

Correct, just check the box for the HPFP and all is well. Just note that you would not be able to completely remove the tune if you have an aftermarket HPFP that requires the flash configuration.

Read my thread here if you havent already about what to look for: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1732327

When you open a log, make sure you aren't looking at a trimmed version (BM3 has sliders to trim, datazap has a trim function)
