How to tell if my car have LSD?

Is there a way I can tell if my car has Limited Split Differential or not?
I have F30 328i 8speed automatic transmission.

Jack up the rear end and spin one of the wheels by hand. If the other one spins the sane direction=LSD. If it spins the opposite direction=open diff

so F30 FWD does come with LSD and non-LSD version?
which version is installed by default?

F3/4 series does NOT come with LSD.

BMW or aftermarket LSD's are available for 6cyl cars, but NOT 4cyl.

I've read of one person (FaRKle!) that installed it on his 328d wagon but it required modifying either the LSD or car, or both, can't remember.

I was answering more generally. Alohasurftoad is correct that there is no factory lsd on any f30.

No LSD I concur. Quaife make Helical LSD for 4 cycl.
