M3 Replica Wheels

I just wanted to hear peoples opinions on these rims (link below). They are replica M3 rims ($650) which seems really cheap for the set. I do not have much other info about them. Makes me kinda scary to buy. I thought they would look nice on my mineral grey f30.

I bought some M3 replica wheels, don't think they are the same supplier but then again it's very hard to say. I bought mine through Canadawheels.ca, they are called Replika Wheels R163, I bought a set of 8.5x19 ET35 and 9.5X19 ET40 for my F30. Here is a link with quite a few shot

https://www.dropbox.com/sc/s0cknxn33...VxQ15Ryxhtvt0a

I install Continental DW 245/35R19 in front and 275/30R19 in the rear, I was thinking of buying the 10x19 ET45 as they maybe a better fit for those huge rear tire. Let me know if you have any questions

How long have you had them? And how do you like them. I heard that many are not to found of replicas because of quality and craftsmanship. I just figured they are cheap plus I can take advantage of Good exchange rate for additional discount

I only had them for the past 2-3 weeks, I love the looks and had many compliment on how they look. The build quality seems very good but like you say some people don't like replica wheels too each his own. The exchange is definitely in your favor these days, there is a sponsor here that sells the same wheels as I got, here is the link

http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1145237

I bought some wheels from Antony before and had very good service and I believe that he ship to the US, send him a PM

I don't believe that you will find nicer looking wheels at that price and as you saw in my picture they suit the car nicely (like an M4 )

I bought a set of replicas and I think they're pretty nice. Hopefully they last a little while and don't fall apart but the quality (from the outside) seems good. If you like the looks of them go for it. If you're worried about their integrity, take them to a good machine shop or someone who can validate them.

245/35/19 and 275/30/19. Seems to be good. Just a hair smaller diameter than OEM but not far enough off to matter I don't think. The extra width is fine as well.

Did you go with the 8.5x19 et35 front and 9.5x19 et40 or 10x19 et45 rear ??

Reps are fine, my only concern is weight. Personally, I wouldn't want to add any more unsprung weight. This is why I like the OEM f80 wheels because they are light and forged.

I don't know the weight of the real forged version but these weigh the same as the OEM 441 18" wheels I had. In fact, the fronts are just abit lighter at 51 lbs with tire. But that could mean the new pirelli's on the replicas are lighter than the bridgestones on the OEM wheels causing the slight weight difference. I can only assume that the replica version is definitely weaker though.

The F80 Wheels offset is wrong for the F30 as they are 19x10 et40 and the replica are 19x10 et45, the F80 wheels will stick out 5mm in the rear as the replica are flush. I know someone here has successfully put a F80 wheel on the rear of a F30 but to do it he had to install 255 rear on a 10" wheel... these wheels should have 275 or 285 tires on them, just my 2 cents...

I didn't even know that they made 18" wheels for the F80, my bad... I was talking about the 19" M437 wheels.

Your not wrong, they do slightly stick out. But the fitment is pretty good. 19's have the exact same fitment as the 18s. I ended up selling them as I didn't feel like lowering my car.

so without lowering it'll look silly?

I keep flipping back on forth on if I want genuine 437M or just the replicas.

if they last me 3yrs at $250 Canadian each, I can live with that... They are very nice and very close to the OEM M437 that I like, again to each his own.

I want to know if these wheels are holding up well after nearly 3 years. Also, would I be able to get the same tires as the stock (225 50 17)? I'm not into the different wheel sizing and all of that.

Hey guys, I have a 320i xdrive with stock rims, and I really want to put aftermarket gloss black rims. I thought about professionally plasti-dipping them because that is the cheapest options. Does anyone have a link to a website that has cheaper gloss black rims so in sets of 4 instead of plasti dipping them?
Thank you.

I wanted to buy these but how off the machined part is compared to OEM bothered me too much. Also more shallow concave and not forged were turn-offs. Unfortunately it's really easy to point out the replicas in pictures and real life. But they are a great option if you don't care about that stuff.
