yeah, and i dont like it how they made it the same as on
the e90. just straight without that part going up where the
back wheel is. that really gives it a nice feel and flow

It's an error in the configurator. The original press release photos (of Estoril Blue F32) show the M Sport side skirts.

Unhappy

After seeing the concept and now this final version, I must confess that I am very disappointed.

BMW gave us a vision of what could be the future models...

And then they did almost everything wrong. The exclusivity from models like E92/93 within the range BMW was lost. Basically this coupe is very similar to the 4-door model. Why?

Rear yellow blinkers with bulbs, seriously!

Despite all, the front is very aggressive and the sideline give a sexy look to the car, but with the rear they blew it! Is horrible! It is a very poor design effort

I hope the car in live could give a better impression, or it will be easily overtaken by competion models from Mercedes, Audi, Infiniti, Lexus, etc, etc, even KIA or Mazda... BMW you could and should do better!

Looks OK but nothing especial , I guess by October if M GmbH did not remove the camo from the M3/M4 so we can see how it will look, a C63 AMG will be in my garage by Xmas.

Was thrilled about this car finally being released BUT from a pictures perspective I am sadly let down(FROM A STYLING STANDPOINT).

1. YELLOW in the tail lights like pre lci e46's??? Stop BMW

2. The side "Thing" really is a joke even worse then an e90 ///M non purposeful gill. Stop BMW

2A. The UNNECESSARY badge above the "Thing"

2B. The ABUSE of the ///M badge

3. I cant put into words what is wrong with the front end but pictures directly from the front just look bland and over styled in some sense. Stop BMW

FROM an engineering standpoint it seems like there is some promising attributes.

1. The weight has dropped from the e92 coupe. Minimally is a step in the right direction. Good Job BMW

2. Center of gravity is improved over the current model range. Whatever that's worth with the current BMW line-up

My hope is that the ///M4 will be a great machine that addresses all my gripes and further improves upon what seems like a great platform.

Unfortunately, the bean counters finally have the company by the balls. And all these purists influences we were once accustom to are long gone. Sales are the only influence of future design unfortunately. The masses are clueless and will continue to buy.

Seems like an e92 ///M3 seems that much more appealing. To me Anyway!

+1. This car relies on a good color combo. When it's right it looks way more high end/aggressive.

Look a little deeper is hardly smart alek, sorry if you feel schooled, I can't control your emotional reaction to a few words.

Just so you know, and this may be some sort of secret BMW is keeping from you, listen closely.......brace yourself.... Not every new car gets a new engin! Especially when the engie is perfectly suited to the platform.....sigh

Phew...I feel so much better now that you are armed with the same knowledge.
