I think I'll ask for an M5 drive when I'm in to try the M3/M4 over the next few weeks.

Logic tells me the M5 makes more sense due to decent pricing and all bases covered with greater capacity however since I ruled out the 530 last time around, I will need to be convinced.

Ha I wish, I was checking out an m4 today and checked the online offers thing, then noticed the m5 m6 discounts.

She is still on track for a 2 series or fiesta ST.

At the moment I am exceptionally happy with my 330 hearse, especially since trying sport + on the damp roads today.

Lol 2 months is my best record lol.

But no, will keep this a while, well until they release a 335i xdrive.

Must say though if any xdrive owners not tried sports + in the damp! give it a go.

Hi

The X3 35D is a brilliant SUV, the 35D engine is an absolute peach and provides more than enough power with 313ps / 479lbs to all 4 wheels. Economy is not too bad considering the size and weight of the car, I average circa 38 mpg and doing a long run will return circa 44 mpg.

I enjoy the higher driving position and so does Sharon my wife to be honest I cannot complain about the car it has lived up to its reputation of winning the best SUV in its class year after year.

If I had to be ultra picky then the gap between the tyre and the wheel arch is far too big and I am riding on 19inch...

However most of the F30/F31 with X-Drive have the same issue

It's an SUV it's supposed to have large gaps.

Bit if a nightmare driving off road without them.

I'm going to do my best to stay the hell away from my dealer for the next couple of years. Otherwise, I will be ordering an M3, and I just cant justify loosing so much money on the 335d.

Give it a couple of years, and hopefully there will be some cracking deals around.

No doubt in my mind, it's an M3 next for me......

Lol yeah it is a bit tempting especially for anyone that does not require a tourer.

I know a couple of people that will be getting M4 first time around, however that's tax free and discounted.

For majority of people there needs to be pretty decent discounts to make it worth while.

The day I get a golf r over an M3-4-5 would be my last one lol. Just not in the same league IMO as an entire package. having said that I would say the Cupra 280 is even better than the r and doesn't have 4 poo shoots. (Friend work has one)

Seen a new m3 and m4 at cooper Thames Ditton today they looked amazing. But I glanced at the m3finance deal, silly really. I recall 12k deposit and 700 for 48 months. Not sure of the mileage etc but that would get 2 well speced 335d's (I guess not that silly it's just with other discounts as been mentioned it's hard to justify at this point. I am sure the numbers will get better in time)
