Carbon Fiber Mirror caps

I have a 340 on the way in Apr and I'm debating whether it's worth getting the CF mirror caps. I'm getting the CF spoiler, CF exhaust tips, and carbon license plate covers. Figured the mirrors would help complete the look but wasn't sure if they're really worth an extra $770 installed. BTW my model is black sapphire with coral interior. Also getting the black grilles, 442 wheels and going to get a 30% window tint as well. Appreciate any feedback from those with the caps!

$770 for CF versus maybe $7 for a wrap?

*R W carbon fiber has high quality carbon caps for like $200 don't do it!!!

Thanks! I'll look into them! Anyone know how difficult it is to install the caps? I've never had them on any other car and I'd imagine not very difficult but you never know really...

Not very. I got a bit too close to my garage door opening and brushed the mirror against it. The cover fell off, and snapped back in place just as easily.

ebay has the same ones rw carbon will sell but at half the cost.

vinyl works well too. the f30 mirrors are not that complicated a shape to wrap.

Thanks much guys, I like the look of the pictures and have installed similar pieces on my STI but never on a BMW so wasn't sure. Don't wanna break my baby when she's brand new!

I fitted CF mirror caps and they look mint

Don't wrap the covers it will look cheap mate , if you have spent that much on the car spend some on CF ones

I fitted CF M4 rear spoiler as well to match CF mirrro caps .

I'm looking at the same too! Got a new f30 in alpine white. I think CF mirrors and spoiler would look awesome.

Yeah man, I'm hoping I find some decent feedback on those. Always skeptical of the aftermarket eBay stuff. I freaking love the look of the M3 mirror caps though. I got a black sapphire 340 on the way....

So are these covers that go on top of th he existing cap or do they replace the existing cap.

Nah mate these are the covers exactly same fitting as OEM and fit perfectly .

I bought mirrors from AlanYoro35i who bought from Eurospec , see link in earlier post

I bought CF spoiler from one of member here and looks awesome too and CF quality is very Good

I bought mine from RF carbon and they have pitted after approx 6 months. They sent me a new pair but I haven't installed them yet.
